Community emergency volunteer roles:
Community Emergency Volunteers are residents who provide a link between the
Emergency Co-ordinator (or Deputy) and residents in their immediate locality.
Their primary role is to receive information from and pass it on to, residents in their area.
Some Community Emergency Volunteers may have formal qualifications or training first aid, that may be of assistance until the emergency services arrive.
Events cancelled due to Coronavirus
Due to the current crisis, regrettably, all events in the village hall are cancelled until further notice.
Coronvirus Pandemic.
The Chair of the Shelfanger Parish Council would like to thank those villagers who, during the current Corona virus pandemic, have given their details to Steve Groom our volunteer co-ordinator. Although not able to convene for usual parish council meetings at this time, the Parish council is still at work behind the scenes assisting Steve where possible and dealing with everyday issues that come in via the Clerk.
Stay safe and follow Government guidelines.
